Because we are a small company, we are able to give topnotch customer service in addition to high-quality workmanship! We work out of a shop in Dorr, MI, but generally pick up and deliver to our clients. Many times we are able to repair furniture right on-site in our client's home!

A Lifetime of Experience
We custom-make furniture, reupholster, and repair furniture throughout Michigan.
Dave grew up in the trade as his father reupholstered furniture for 40+ years. For a number of years Dave’s father has been slowly transitioning to retirement. One of his goals during this transitional period was to pass the business on to Dave, which is why we decided to incorporate the company. We have been incorporated since February 14, 2014.
Dave & Son Upholstery, Inc. has done contract work for one of the higher-end national furniture stores to service their clients in Michigan; our family business has been servicing this furniture store for more than a decade. We reupholster and repair furniture as well as build custom pieces for our own clients. Our clients want something built to last with the quality they received 20+ years ago; they were the reason we created our custom furniture line.
