You might have noticed in recent years that new furniture is just not what it used to be. Unfortunately, the furniture industry as a whole has gone down in quality from what it was 20+ years ago. A number of issues (substitution; economy; etc.) have contributed to this downward trend. To ensure you receive a high-quality product, we inspected each piece of furniture in detail before it leaves our shop. We have several designs that we can custom make just for you! Furniture Frames
Just like the foundation is essential when building a house, it is also essential when building furniture. Our local frame supplier has high-quality frames made with durable, WHAD grade 5/4" hardwood Maple. The lumber is kiln-dried and surfaced to 1-1/8" thick. The frames are built with double dowel construction at all joints and have screws in the corner blocks instead of the staples that are commonly used by other companies. The frames have been featured in a number of industry and national publications. Our supplier's frame builders learned techniques that some label “old-school” - taught by craftsman who spent years working at the heart of the furniture industry. We are sure you will be satisfied with the quality that goes into the foundation of your custom-made product!
