When we reupholster your item(s) you have many different materials to choose from, including fabric, leather, and vinyl. Reupholster your old furniture to give it a new look! Update your furniture by getting rid of the skirt if it has one, or adding a skirt if it doesn't. Is it broken? No problem - we can repair it!

Reupholster your wicker sofa, chair, and ottoman cushions! When we reupholster your cushions, we can replace the decking on your pieces to match the fabric you chose for your cushions. Don't like the current cushions you have? No problem, we can make them any style you like. Need ties to go with your new cushions? We can add ties too.

1) Send Us A Photo

Click on the "Price List" button above to access the quote form and attach your photo(s). Otherwise, e-mail a photo to Rachelle@DaveAndSonUpholstery.com or text one to 616-644-3692, then call to confirm your photo was received. If you can't send a photo, we would be happy to schedule a time to see the item in person.

It is important your photo shows views from the front, side and back (see photo example). If you know the dimensions of your item, please feel free to include that information as well.

Please give us one to two business days to get back to you. Because we are a small office and are frequently on the road for scheduled appointments, it may take one to two days to get back to you after an inquiry.

Tell us about any concerns you have about your item that may need repair, like wanting to have wooden legs touched up or an area on the item that is squeaking.

2) Pick Out Your Material

If you are interested in leather, we recommend calling our office to schedule a time to look at our leather cards in person. To learn more about leather, click on the "Material" tab at the top of the page.

You may also pick out your material by viewing our materials page. Once you are on that page, click on the "View Sample Books" button. From there our website will redirect you to the Luxury Fabrics site for your convenience; Luxury Fabrics is our primary material supplier. From there you can choose a fabric sample book and browse through the available materials in that collection. If you don't find what you are looking for in one collection, simply hover over the "Sample Books" tab and click on the "Residential" tab to select another book to view. Since it is common for a fabric to appear one shade or color on your computer monitor and a slightly different shade or color in person, we can have a sample of the fabric sent to you for in-person viewing once you have made your choice. After you review the sample, If you decide that is the material you'd like us to work with, let us know and we will pick it up for you on our next trip to Luxury Fabrics.

If you would like to pick out your material in person, you can visit Luxury Fabrics, 504 44th St. in Grand Rapids. They have several fabrics, leathers, and vinyls to choose from. Tell them you're having work done by Dave & Son Upholstery, Inc., and they will be happy to help you pick your material in their showroom.

Found a fabric, leather, or vinyl you like from another source? We'd be happy to work with that, too! Just make sure you have the material for us when we come to pick up your item.
3) Get Me On The List
As soon as you pick your material, let us know so we can pick it up along with your item and put your item on our schedule.

When your job is nearing completion, we will call you to schedule for delivery.

Payment for the labor is due on delivery.
