Leathers We Offer
The semi-aniline top grain leather uses the strongest part of the hide. With Crypton finish applied, it gives the leather an added protective coat to extend the life of the leather. The Catalina II and the Chesapeake leathers we offer are semi-aniline with the Crypton finish. Both of these leathers have an abrasion level rating of 1,000 cycles/1,000 gram weight. In our opinion, the Catalina II and Chesapeake lines have the best quality of all the varieties we offer. The material cost is generally between $850-$1,000* per hide. Hides may vary in size, but most commonly average between 50-55 square-feet.
Other lines we offer with a high leather abrasion level rating (1,000 cycles/1,000 gram weight) include the Davenport, Old English, and Parisienne leathers. None of these lines have Crypton finish, but it can be added to the leather for an additional $1.00* per square foot. These hides, like the Catalina II and Chesapeake lines, range between $850 - $1,000* per hide.
For customers looking for a leather option that provides quality on a tighter budget, our Veneta line might be a good fit. Veneta hides range in price between $600-$800* per hide.
